Quien dice que no se juega en Linux?? Si bien en Linux no existe la misma cantidad de juegos que para Windows hoy en día se puede encontrar una gran variedad. Navegando en la blogosfera encuentro este sitio bastante interesante llamado “Poco Interesante” (valga la redundancia) el cual hacen una reseña a un compilado de juegos desarrollados especialemte para Linux. Aca les posteo los mas interesantes a mi parecer.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Excelentes gráficos, juego de FPS, donde se maneja un grupo elite contra distintos tipos de enemigos, incluso Aliens!

Second Life. Que esta muy de moda en estos tiempos, se trata de una comunidad virtual, donde llevas tu propia vida manejándote por ciudades, hablando con personas y hasta comerciando. Con 8,432,421 residentes hasta el día de hoy.

Frozen Bubble. Un juego de estrategia donde debes disparar con el cañón las bolas del mismo color para hacerlas desaparecer y así ir rompiendo capas (este fue unos de los juegos en los que me pase horas y horas en las salas de maquinas jugando.. ufff que tiempos aquellos).

FlightGear. Un gran simulador de vuelo. Fue un proyecto colaborativo que apunto a ser un framewrk gratis de la simulacion de vuelo.

Nexuiz. Otro FPS muy similar al Quake.

Stepmania. Es un Dance Dance Revolution, si tenes un control de DDR te podra servir.

AssaultCube. FPS similar al Counter Strike, se manejan grupos de asalto o grupos de “terroristas”.

Y hay muchos mas…. pero eso no es todo si todavia no estas satisfecho y estas empedernido en jugar juegos de windows puedes utilizar Cedega. Cedega (anteriormente conocido como WineX) es un fork libre (pero de pago) de Wine desarrollado por TransGaming Technologies y sirve para migrar juegos hechos exclusivamente para windows en otras plataformas como ser GNU/Linux. Con este software los juegos funcionan igual o en algunos casos mejor que en windows. Aqui les dejo los 242 juegos (siii leíste bien 242 juegos y no son del año de la perilla) soportados por Cedega:
